During Wildcard weekend of the 1992 NFL season, the Buffalo Bills accomplished a historic first, becoming the first NFL team to rally from a 32-point deficit when the Bills stunned the Houston Oilers 41-38 in overtime at what was then called Rich Stadium.

More than 25 members of that legendary team were honored Sunday as part of Buffalo’s Kickoff Weekend against the New York Jets.

On January 3, 1993, the Bills, led by backup quarterback Frank Reich, orchestrated a comeback from a 35-3 third-quarter deficit. The victory remains the biggest comeback in NFL history.
