The Buffalo Bills made a surprising move at the start of the 2019 season when they released their featured running back of the past six years, LeSean McCoy. The organization felt it was time to move in another direction and they were validated in that decision this past season.
This was due in large part to rookie running Devin Singletary, who broke out down the stretch for this offense. The third round pick out of Florida Atlantic over the final nine games of the regular season averaged 16 carries and 75 rushing yards per game. He surpassed veteran Frank Gore as the team’s featured running back and the hope is he will build on this strong finish going into his second year.
