AJ McCarron started Friday’s game and it appeared he was receiving his fair shot to be the starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. It didn’t go so well.
McCarron had an awful outing, although to be fair the blocking wasn’t exactly good in any sense of the word. He capped it off by fracturing his collarbone, effectively taking him out of the starting conversation.
This injury could doom the team if McCarron was expected to be the starter, but it seemed like he was already trending toward being the odd man out. That would have been true after Friday’s game even if he wasn’t injured.
