The Buffalo Bills announced a change to the team’s ticket policy Friday morning. Beginning this season, the Bills will no longer allow fans to present printed tickets to gain admission to New Era Field. The team will only accept mobile tickets, a trend that is being implemented by other teams across the league, according to a news release issued by the team.
The Bills said tickets to all games for the 2018 season are now “fully digital and only accessible through your mobile device.” This policy came about, the team said, as a way to both improve efficiency and convenience on game day, while also reducing the number of lost, stolen, or fraudulent tickets being passed off at the stadium gates.
