One of the biggest stories in the sports world on Thursday had to do with a wild story about the dysfunction surrounding the Cleveland Browns.
Buffalo Bills fans who decided to check out the article noticed an interesting tidbit about how Sean McDermott was nearly the head coach in Cleveland before the owner, Jimmy Haslam, went rogue and hired Hue Jackson.
It sure worked out for the Bills, and for McDermott. It would have taken a miracle for him to still be the coach there given how bad the team was back in 2016.
Instead, Bills fans got to see McDermott lead Buffalo back to the postseason in 2017.
