In a bold move, the Buffalo Bills have chosen to have only two captains for the 2024 NFL season: one for offense and one for defense. It’s certainly no surprise that quarterback Josh Allen was voted in as captain for his sixth straight season as he’s truly embraced the leadership position on the team.
However, the defensive captain, linebacker Terrel Bernard, is entering his first year in which he’s able to wear the “C” patch on his uniform. It’s a well-deserved title after standing out in his role within the Bills’ locker room that last few years and especially after his breakout campaign in 2023.
