The Buffalo Bills announced their captains for the upcoming 2019 season on Friday, with six players earning the right to don the captain’s “C” on game day.
As it was during the 2018 season, the list of Bills captains is divided evenly between offense, defense, and special teams. Returning to a role as a captain are linebacker Lorenzo Alexander and kicker Stephen Hauschka, with four newcomers earning a spot as captain.
The new captains are: quarterback Josh Allen, linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, tackle Dion Dawkins, and long snapper Reid Ferguson.
