The Buffalo Bills are suddenly in a world of hurt. After mostly avoiding major injuries this season, a slew of them hit the team on Sunday against the New York Jets.
The longest-term injury was to second-year linebacker Matt Milano, who may have played his way into the Pro Bowl conversation with his turnovers this season. He had surgery on his broken leg Monday but head coach Sean McDermott said they were optimistic he’d be ready for offseason work. Given the gruesome nature of the injury, that’s a good sign.
