In a game that the Buffalo Bills needed to come out and dominate from the start so that they could prove they were still “that” team, they did the exact opposite.
The Bills went three and out on their first drive against the Houston Texans when quarterback Josh Allen overthrew tight end Dalton Kincaid on a 3rd & 3 instead of taking the “normal” Allen-route and running it himself. However, the Texans looked as though they weren’t going to do much better as Buffalo’s defense kept them behind the line of scrimmage and Houston didn’t even call wide receiver Stefon Diggs’ number once.
