In a report from Rob Demovsky at ESPN, the Buffalo Bills have conducted an interview for one of their coaching vacancies. In an article primarily focused on the Green Bay Packers hiring Nathaniel Hackett (yes, THAT Nathaniel Hackett) to be their next offensive coordinator, Demovsky tosses in that Joe Philbin has interviewed with the Buffalo Bills and two other teams. The report does not indicate which position the Bills were looking at Philbin for. Currently the Bills still have vacancies for their special-teams coordinator, wide-receiver coach and offensive-line coaching positions.
Aside from looking a lot like the guy who played The Devil in Constantine, Bills fans should remember Philbin’s stint as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 2012 to 2015.
