At the start of the week, Buffalo Bills right guard John Miller was “still being evaluated” for an oblique injury that ended his game against the Jaguars. As the Bills broke practice on Wednesday, Miller was a non-participant. His replacement wasn’t Ryan Groy, who handled the remaining snaps in the game, nor Vladimir Ducasse, who was benched for Wyatt Teller and inactive last week. Ahead of them, and ahead of rookie Ike Boettger, was Jeremiah Sirles. Sirles already saw some playtime this year in place of a struggling Jordan Mills, and it looks like the coaches will trust him to start on the inside if Miller can’t play this week.
