Buffalo Bills injury report: Shaq Lawson will miss second straight week

Speaking with the media on Friday, Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott announced that injured defensive end Shaq Lawson will be forced to miss Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Lawson did not practice on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday as he recovers from a hamstring strain. That type of injury can linger for weeks before a player’s back in game condition, so that news isn’t surprising. Trent Murphy, Eddie Yarbrough, and Nate Orchard will step up in the meantime.

Phillip Gaines (elbow), Taron Johnson (shoulder), and Ray-Ray McCloud (knee) were all limited participants in practice all week, but will be listed as “questionable” and should be likely to play on Sunday.
