The Buffalo Bills released their first injury update for their upcoming battle against the Cincinnati Bengals, and rookie running back Devin Singletary (hamstring) was unable to practice on Wednesday. Singletary has 127 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries this year, but tweaked his hamstring at the end of Sunday’s win over the New York Giants. Speaking with reporters, Sean McDermott called Singletary “day-to-day,” and said the Bills saw no need to sign another running back, implying that the injury may not be too severe. Still, hamstring injuries can linger, so it’s too early to say Singletary has a chance to play this Sunday.
