Carolina Panthers assistant special teams coach Heath Farwell has been hired as the new special teams coordinator for the Buffalo Bills, per Panthers beat reporter Jourdan Rodrigue. Farwell is a fresh face in the coaching world, with only three years of experience, but was a well-known specialist during a ten-year NFL career.
Farwell signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2005 as an undrafted free agent linebacker. By 2006, he had been named the team’s special teams MVP. He was voted to the Pro Bowl as a special teams representative in the 2010 season.
