The Buffalo Bills are set for their first padded practice of training camp, and before they started, head coach Sean McDermott provided an injury update for the reporters in attendance.
Three players won’t participate due to injury. Safety Mike Edwards has a hamstring injury, and McDermott called him “week to week.” Wideout Chase Claypool has an ankle injury, and McDermott called him “day to day.” Finally, offensive lineman Mike Edwards is in concussion protocol. McDermott also said that three players expected to play big roles in the 2024 regular season will receive veteran rest days.
