Even after the release of veteran running back LeSean McCoy, the Buffalo Bills will begin the 2019 season with one of the oldest rosters in the NFL.
The Bills’ 53-man roster has an average age of 26.3, with linebacker Lorenzo Alexander (36), running back Frank Gore (36), kicker Stephen Hauschka (34) and tackle Ty Nsekhe (33) holding the distinction as the elder statesmen of the team.
Buffalo’s average age is tied with the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers for the seventh-oldest rosters in the league.
