Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Adolphus Washington has one less thing hanging over his head this week. The second-year player was arrested on a firearms charge this July but was acquitted at trial this week.
Washington had been accused of improperly carrying a concealed firearm near a local water park. The Sharonville police report stated that Washington displayed his firearm while he was within feet of officers and he, “did not inform officers beforehand.” You can watch the arrest video here.
With Marcell Dareus sent home for not following team rules, Washington took a majority of his snaps last week with the first-team defense and appears a lock to make the roster based on lack of depth at the position.
