Haiti native Claudell Louis has become a United States citizen as the undrafted free agent attempts to also become a member of the Buffalo Bills this offseason. Congratulations, Claudell!
Louis moved to the United States in 2001 with his family when he was 12. He had been travelling to the United States frequently to see his mother in Miami, Florida, according to this report from ESPN. After moving from Haiti, the immigrant had to learn football while in high school, putting him well behind his classmates in learning the rules and strategy of the game.
