Cyrus Kouandjio started five games for the Buffalo Bills in 2016 in his first major action as a pro. The former second-round pick was going to be in the mix for a starting position with a new offensive staff but now that is in jeopardy.
“Bills OL Cyrus Kouandjio recently suffered a non-football injury to his hip when he fell at his home,” said the team in a statement. “He underwent successful surgery [Wednesday] and it is anticipated that he will be ready for Training Camp.”
While it is good that Kouandjio will be ready for training camp, he will not be participating in minicamp or OTAs according to general manager Doug Whaley.
