The Buffalo Bills announced today that they’ve hired five scouts as they continue to rebuild their front office after the firing of Doug Whaley and his staff a few weeks ago.
The big name in the group is Dennis Hickey, who will serve as a senior college scout. Hickey had been the general manager of the Miami Dolphins for the 2014 and 2015 seasons, but was let go last January in favor of Chris Grier. One of Hickey’s top executives in Miami was new Bills assistant general manager Joe Schoen, who was the director of player personnel during Hickey’s tenure.
