Entering the fourth quarter, the story of the game for the Buffalo Bills was going to be the play of Josh Allen. The first half couldn’t have gone any worse for the second year quarterback as he had four turnovers, two fumbles and two interceptions, and even threw a third that was negated due to a penalty on the New York Jets.
However, the fourth quarter changed all that as the Bills scored 17 straight points to take a 17-16 lead in the final four minutes of the game.
While it was Josh Allen that accounted for the team’s two touchdowns, one rushing and a 38-yard touchdown pass to John Brown, the spark for this offense came from rookie Devin Singletary.
