The Buffalo Bills have closed practice to the public on Tuesday, August 14th. Originally scheduled to be an 8:45 a.m. Eastern outdoor practice, it has been moved indoors at 11:15 a.m. due to weather concerns.
According to The Weather Channel, there is at least an 85% chance of thunderstorms before, during, and after the entire practice window. As someone who has been at practice in a rapid downpour and thunderstorm, it’s particularly scary. There is not a lot of space to take cover due to access restrictions on the buildings and the openness of the field, and the main “safe area” is the large merchandise tent.
