The Buffalo Bills made a pair of corresponding roster moves on Wednesday, releasing cornerback Ryan Lewis and claiming guard Ike Boettger off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs.
Boettger was waived on Tuesday following the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 1 game. Kansas City had to make room for tight end Demetrius Harris, who was coming off the league’s suspended list. Boettger was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Bills in 2018 and spent all offseason in Buffalo before final roster cuts. He was claimed by the Chiefs the next day.
