There has been plenty of focus on the nickel position this offseason for the Buffalo Bills. The team added a position on the coaching staff dedicated to the position this offseason along with who the answer is to the “Buffalo Nickel” role.
Currently the starter for the Bills is Taron Johnson, who has played the role for most of the past two seasons. The former fourth round pick by the Bills has done a good job when on the field but the issue is the fact that Taron Johnson has dealt with a number of injuries, missing nine games over the past two seasons.
