Buffalo Bills avoid serious injuries in preseason game against Lions

There has been a growing trend within the NFL that teams are holding out key players and most starters in the preseason to avoid injury. However, the Buffalo Bills have not followed this and in the third preseason game played most starters through the first half against the Detroit Lions.

However, they saw a number of key players be forced to miss some playing time due to an injury sustained in the game against the Lions. The group included both starting cornerbacks Levi Wallace and Tre’Davious White, starting left guard Quinton Spain and running back Frank Gore.

While it is always a concern to see players have to leave the game, the team was able to avoid any of these injuries being too serious.
