The Buffalo Bills should have had a two-score lead on the New York Jets at halftime, but as the Bills under head coach Sean McDermott do so often, they caved in a big moment. Instead of hitting the locker room up 20-10, the Bills have a scant three-point lead on the interim-coached Jets.
What are we doing here, McDermott? Even if that was the result of poor effort by the defensive backs, McDermott has a hand in coaching those moments during the week and otherwise. Under no circumstances should that 52-yard heave have landed complete.
