The Buffalo Bills take on the Dallas Cowboys today in a Thanksgiving Day match-up that could potentially silence plenty of critics for both teams. Neither the Bills nor the Cowboys have defeated a team with a .500 record at the time they played, and only Buffalo has defeated a team that currently has more wins than losses (the Tennessee Titans, whom they beat 14-7 a week before they changed quarterbacks).
Today’s game is the first one that Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen will start that in a nationally televised contest. It’s also the first game he’ll start that hasn’t kicked off at 1 PM.
