The Buffalo Bills made a roster move Thursday afternoon, officially activating safety Colt Anderson from injured reserve. In order to make room for Anderson on the 53-man roster, the Bills released safety Trae Elston.
Anderson has been on injured reserve since early October. He broke his arm covering a kick in the Bills’ road victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Although he played zero defensive snaps this season, he was a mainstay on both the punt and kick coverage units. He had three tackles, one in each of the team’s first three games, before landing on injured reserve.
