The Bills defense had an offseason filled with injuries and distractions, but on Sunday, the guys on that side of the ball were able to tune everything out and go play football.
Led by Jerry Hughes and Preston Brown, the unit held the Ravens to 308 yards of total offense and allowed its only touchdown on a 66-yard pass from Joe Flacco to Mike Wallace in the second quarter. Aside from that mistake, the Bills held Flacco to 192 yards in the game.
Hughes wreaked havoc on the inexperienced Baltimore offensive line all game.
