Just as the Buffalo Bills were getting settled in at mandatory minicamp earlier this month, concerning reports made the rounds about an injury wide receiver Khalil Shakir had sustained on the first day of practice.
Much was unknown beyond the injury appearing to affect his lower left leg, the biggest piece of evidence being the compression sleeve he was observed wearing in the days following — which included his appearance on the sideline the day after getting hurt.
Now, less than two weeks after the initial injury, it appears Shakir is on the mend and doing well as he continues to train with Bills legend Eric Moulds and his outfit known as Optimal Athletic Training.
