“BRUUUUCE” is what fans will be screaming at the Bill’s primetime home opener this season.
The Buffalo Bills announced today the team will retire Bruce Smith’s No. 78 at halftime for the Jets vs Bills Thursday Night game on September 15th.
“We are going to retire one of the great numbers of all time,” Bills President Russ Brandon said in an interview with WGR 550. “It’s going to be a special halftime ceremony.”
Smith joins quarterback Jim Kelly as the only two Bills players to have their jersey retired by the team.
