Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Bills have placed veteran DT Jerel Worthy on waivers Tuesday.
Worthy, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Packers back in 2012. However, he lasted just two years in Green Bay and sustained a serious knee. Upon returning, the Packers traded him to the Patriots for a conditional draft pick, but he was, unfortunately, cut loose at the start of the 2014 season.
Worthy had had brief stints with the Chiefs and Lions before signing on with the Bills during the 2015 season.
