The Buffalo Bills announced that they’ve placed CB Charles Gaines on waivers Thursday to make room for newly signed LB Gerald Hodges.
Gaines, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Browns back in 2015. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2,402,136 contract when the Browns elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason last year.
The Bills later added Gaines to their practice squad toward the end of the season.
Gaines spent a good portion of the 2015 season on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
