The Bills made an addition on offense and defense Sunday signing a pair of free agents in TE Rory Anderson and S Adrian McDonald.
Anderson (6-5, 244) is a former seventh-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers (2015). The tight end did not make San Francisco’s 53-man roster as a rookie that year, but was signed to the Chicago Bears practice squad. However, by midseason he landed on the Bears practice squad/injured list.
The athletic tight end battled injuries throughout his college career at South Carolina, which included torn triceps in both arms. Still, he managed to pull in 61 catches for 954 yards and nine touchdowns for the Gamecocks.
