The Bills tinkering with the back half of their roster continued just a day prior to the team’s mandatory minicamp. Buffalo signed veteran free agent DL Leger Douzable and OT Chris Martin on Monday.
Douzable, 30, has spent the last three seasons with the New York Jets, but was not re-signed by the AFC East rival as a free agent this spring. Two of his three seasons with New York were spent under Bills current head coach Rex Ryan and current defensive coordinator Dennis Thurman.
Listed at 6-4 and 284 pounds, Douzable lined up as a right defensive end in Ryan’s 3-4 defensive system, and was primarily a rotational defensive lineman for Ryan.
