The search for a replacement running back is over in Buffalo as the Bills have signed former Indianapolis Colts back Dan “Boom” Herron to a contract.
To make room on the roster, the team has placed tight end MarQueis Gray, who suffered a broken arm against the New York Giants, on season-ending injured reserve.
Herron was originally drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2012 NFL Draft, but became known during his stint with the Colts. Herron played in all 16 games for the Colts last season, rushing for 351 yards and a touchdown on 78 carries.
