ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Safety Aaron Williams returned to Buffalo Bills practice Thursday, beginning a 21-day window in which the team can choose to activate him from injured reserve.
Williams suffered a neck injury in Week 2 that required him to be transported from the field to a hospital in an ambulance. He returned to play in an Oct. 11 victory over the Tennessee Titans before the Bills decided to place him on injured reserve with a designation to return.
Williams is eligible to play in Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, but coach Rex Ryan said Monday that Williams won’t play.
