ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Bills rookie Shaq Lawson is expected to make his NFL debut Sunday against the Miami Dolphins after Buffalo activated the outside linebacker from the physically unable to perform list Friday.
Lawson, the No. 19 overall pick in April's draft, returned to practice Wednesday, the first day he was eligible. The former Clemson standout underwent shoulder surgery in May that sidelined him for all of the preseason and the first six games of the regular season.
Bills coach Rex Ryan was initially hesitant about whether Lawson would be able to play Sunday after participating in an NFL practice for the first time this week.
