Bills relieve offensive coordinator Greg Roman of his duties

After the first 0-2 start in his head coaching career Rex Ryan has made a bold move with his coaching staff. Ryan relieved Greg Roman of his duties as offensive coordinator Friday, a day after the team fell to the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football (37-31).

The Bills named Assistant head coach/running backs coach Anthony Lynn as the team’s new play caller on offense.

Roman, who in his first year as coordinator of the Bills helped the offense lead the league in rushing and yards per carry average, brought an offense into 2016 that was expected to improve.
