It’s just two weeks into the 2024 NFL season, yet the Buffalo Bills have already seen a pair of players named an AFC Offensive Player of the Week. The latest accolade goes to running back James Cook, who was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week following his dominant performance on the road against the Miami Dolphins.
Cook’s nomination in Week 2 comes on the heels of Bills defensive end Greg Rousseau being named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Week 1.
Many wondered if quarterback Josh Allen would add another player-of-the-week award to his trophy case — as he’s so often done at Miami’s expense — but James Cook stole the show in South Beach.
