The Buffalo Bills have had a good offense for a while now. Ever since Josh Allen’s breakout 2020 season, Bills Mafia has gotten used to seeing the Bills’ offense at the top of many offensive efficiency metrics — specifically when passing the ball. Even 2023, which saw the team fire offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey (now with the Cleveland Browns) after 10 games, the Bills still ranked third in the NFL in the regular season in Expected Points Added (EPA) per play at 0.10 (all EPA number courtesy of SumerSports).
And somehow, through an admittedly small two-game sample in 2024, Buffalo is demolishing their offensive efficiency metrics from previous years.
