ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills announced Saturday that they have reached a stadium naming rights deal with Buffalo-based New Era Cap Company to sponsor Ralph Wilson Stadium.
It is unclear what the stadium will be named under the New Era sponsorship. The venue has been called Ralph Wilson Stadium, in honor of Bills founding owner Ralph Wilson, since 1998.
Wilson died in 2014, and the team was later sold to Terry and Kim Pegula.
Opened in 1972, the facility was known as Rich Stadium through 1997, as part of a naming rights deal with Buffalo-based food service company Rich Products.
