The Bills released a handful of players earlier in the week, but still had to undergo the task of moving 30 more players off their roster by 4 pm Saturday. Buffalo didn’t have many surprise cuts as they got their roster to the required 53.
Two players were moved off the roster via injury settlements with the Bills. The most notable was Rod Streater, who was arguably the most consistent receiver in training camp. He sustained a dislocated toe in the preseason game against Philadelphia and had not been able to practice since.
The other players who reached an injury settlement with the club was safety Shamiel Gary.
