Bills K Dan Carpenter named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

The National Football League announced today that Bills K Dan Carpenter was named AFC special teams player of the week for his Week 11 performance against the Cincinnati Bengals. Carpenter’s award-winning day helped lead the Bills to a 16-12 win.

Carpenter is the third Bill this season to win player of the week honors (Zach Brown-DPOW, Week 4; Nickell Robey-Coleman, DPOW, Week 5) and the first Bill to earn special teams player of the week honors since Boobie Dixon in Week 12 of 2014.

This is marks the sixth time Carpenter has earned the honor in his career and second time since joining the Bills.
