The bye week was the perfect medicine for the reeling Buffalo Bills.
After back-to-back losses dropped them to No. 19 in ESPN's NFL Power Rankings, the Bills (3-4) rebounded this past weekend without having to play a game. They improved three spots in the Power Rankings, leapfrogging the division rival Miami Dolphins (3-4), who were blown out last Thursday night by the New England Patriots.
The Dolphins, who fell four spots to No. 17, are the Bills' next opponent.
ESPN's Football Power Index, a statistical-based approach to ranking teams, continues to be friendlier to the Bills.
