The Bills pursuit of improving their roster is a never ending process. That was made evident on Thursday evening when they hosted free agent WR Andre Roberts and LB Jamari Lattimore in Buffalo.
Roberts, 28, was released by Washington on Tuesday. The NFC East club has invested in their receiving corps in the the last two NFL drafts in the form of 2015 fourth-round pick Jamison Crowder and 2016 first-round pick Josh Doctson and Roberts was the odd man out in Washington.
Roberts (5-11, 187) has been productive in his six NFL seasons. Originally a third-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals (2010), he posted 182 receptions for 2,123 yards and 11 touchdowns in his first four seasons with Arizona.
