The Bills are still sifting through the free agent market looking for capable talent to help their defense. On Friday Buffalo played host to free agent LB Bruce Carter at One Bills Drive.
Carter, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in the 2011 NFL draft. The athletic inside linebacker most recently played middle linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their 4-3 defensive front where he logged 47 tackles, a pair of sacks and two pass breakups.
His experience in a 3-4 defensive front stems from his time in Dallas where he was a starter most of his last three seasons with the Cowboys.
