Bills hope Sunday is preview of brighter future without Tom Brady

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- There probably is not an athlete more despised in Buffalo than Tom Brady.

Over his past 15 seasons as the New England Patriots' quarterback, Brady has a 25-3 record against the Buffalo Bills, making him the source of perennial frustration for fans who haven't seen their team make the postseason since 1999.

But the loathing of Brady in Buffalo goes beyond his success. Locals are still irked by his 2012 comment that the city's hotels are "not the nicest places in the world," and if that didn't give Bills fans enough reason to paint the UGG-wearing superstar as haughty, his more recent "Deflategate" suspension has made it easier for those in Buffalo to poke holes in his squeaky-clean image.
