PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills have hired Pat Meyer as a football operations consultant, and he also has a background as an offensive line coach.
The hiring was announced on Friday, shortly before the Bills opened training camp in suburban Rochester.
Meyer spent the past two seasons as an offensive line coach with the Chicago Bears under coordinator Aaron Kromer, who was hired by the Bills in January.
