ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The West Coast has not been kind to the Buffalo Bills.
In the past 20 seasons, the Bills are 3-11 when playing in the Pacific time zone. Their last cross-country win came Dec. 26, 2004 over the San Francisco 49ers, their second West Coast win of that season.
Since then, the Bills have lost six Pacific time zone games in a row, including a devastating 26-24 loss to the Oakland Raiders on Dec. 21, 2014. The defeat to the 2-12 Raiders, which knocked the Bills out of playoff contention, came as Buffalo was riding high after shutting down Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers the prior week.
